EKG Technician Training Program


Are you interested in becoming an EKG technician?

EKG technicians work in healthcare facilities with doctors and technologists and specialize in electrocardiogram (EKG) testing for patients. EKG machines are complex devices that monitors the heart's performance. This is done by attaching wires and electrodes to a patient's chest, arms and legs.

In this 9 week program students will learn:

  1. How to perform diagnostic electrocardiograms
  2. Properly position and apply electrodes as appropriate.
  3. Connect leads from electrocardiograph machine to electrodes on specified body areas.
  4. Monitor and review patients electrocardiograms.
Students will be required to take the certification exam at the end of the program.

81 classroom hours 
+ 100 hour externship 


Day: M T W  8:30am-12pm
Evening: M T W  6pm-9pm

$550.00 Deposit

(Due on or before your start date)

Students that miss more than two weeks of class will be immediately dropped from the program.
