Pharmacy Technician Training

Interested in becoming a pharmacy technician? 

Pharmacy technicians are healthcare workers that generally work under the supervision of a licensed pharmacists dispensing prescriptions drugs. This program will prepare you to assist the pharmacist in filling prescriptions in a hospital, nursing home, and/or pharmacies. Program will include learning all activities involved in receiving written and/or refill prescriptions, filling, mixing, properly labeling, and pricing prescriptions, billing and inventory, and preparing medical insurance forms.


20 week program

This program is for individuals seeking a career in the health care field or those who want to make a career change. After completing the program, students will be required to complete an externship at a local pharmacy. Students will also be required to take the National Pharmacy technician Certification test.

Days and hours
240 hours +
100 hour externship 

Day: M T W  8:30am-12pm
(Students who would prefer the evening 6 pm -10 pm must call the school prior to signing up)
Deposit: $750.00
Students that miss more than one week will be immediately dropped from the program.
